Front Brakes Do Not Release

This article covers the proper adjustment of the push rod from the brake pedal to the master cylinder on Summit Utilitrucks and Payloaders

To adjust the push rod, you will need a 1/2'' open ended wrench and vice grips.

Loosen the nut to on clevis sides of the rod.

Loosen rod by turning counterclockwise with the rod while slightly lifting the brake pedal.

You will want a little play between the rod end and the master cylinder plunger.
